designed with intention.
Chispita Studio is not a classroom. It is three connected environments — each one designed around a specific purpose, a specific group of people, and a specific philosophy of what happens when children and caregivers are given a space that was built for them.
No two zones feel the same. But they belong together.
Where children make things. Real materials, real process. Scheduled sessions, from the very beginning through age twelve.
Specialty coffee. A glass wall with a sightline to the library. A place to exhale.
A sculptural tree structure, turf reading steps, a curated collection. Open to everyone. Reservation required. Same-day accepted. Ever.
The Atelier is the creative engine of Chispita Studio. A working studio — not a classroom, not just a craft room. Designed for children who are already thinking, already wondering, already reaching.
A child walks in and the room is already waiting. There is so much to explore they don’t know where to start — and then something catches their eye and they go directly there. No hesitation. No permission needed.
That is the moment. The spark of creativity arriving before a single material has been picked up. The mind already a million miles ahead, imagining everything they are going to make.
And then they start. And something shifts. The making takes over.
The Atelier is not where children come to make art. It is where they come to think out loud — and the materials are the language.
Your child may come home with something — a drawing, a clay piece, a collage. It might not be the final product but it is a reminder. A record of where their mind went that day. Ask them about it. That conversation is the real thing.
Most children's studios treat grownups as an afterthought. Chispita Studio was designed from the beginning with the understanding that the person who brings the child is also someone who deserves a space.
Designed by parents, for parents. The Coffee Zone exists because grownups are not a footnote in the story of their child's discovery — they are essential to it. A present, rested grownup is the most powerful thing a child can have in the room next door.
The Library does not require a membership. You arrive with your reservation, find a book, and stay a while. It is Chispita Studio's gift to the community.
West Orange County is growing faster than almost anywhere in the state. Families are arriving every month — and with them, a need for spaces that feel considered, curated, and calm.
The Library is a space to feel welcomed. To feel at peace. To be comfortable enough to explore — a book, a corner, a quiet afternoon with your child — without any barrier between you and that moment.
The Library is not an amenity for paying members. It is a community space. Anyone can arrive with a reservation. Anyone is welcome.
